Last night, instead of working on all the stuff I brought home with me, I watched the Patrick Stewart/Glenn Close "The Lion in Winter". I really enjoyed it, though I still prefer the Peter O'Toole/Katharine Hepburn version. Especially the young Timothy Dalton. And hearing Hepburn talk about wearing jewelry on her nipples.
Oddly enough, though I generally enjoy his work, I wasn't impressed by Jonathan Rhys-Meyers in this version. This may have had something to do with the fact that he wore big baggy robes the entire time.
Could it be that I am so shallow as to only like actors when they are wearing tight clothing on their lithe, cat-like bodies? So be it.

Ihaven't seen the new version of it yet. Alas, i'm afraid loving the orginal the way i do will ruin it for me.
