Lesson learned

The reason I shouldn't try to do my laundry at 6 a.m. is that I'm not fully awake, even if I'm ambulatory enough to get downstairs and start the machines.

That explains why I didn't notice my wallet in the back pocket of my jeans.

At least my Metrocard still worked.

At least you remembered to not still be wearing your jeans when you put them in the washing machine.

If you send your wallet to me, I will take the money and credit cards out and dry it for you. I also won't be able to explain what happened to the money and credit cards when you ask for them back.

Palochi - Just dumb luck.

David - You, my friend, will be sorely disappointed.

Momey laundering is illegal!

Metrocards can survive anything. You have to apply flame directly just to get them to melt.

Not that I've tried, or anything.

Oh I well know the joys of washed credit and bank cards!

I can't even count the number of times I've done that. At least your wallet is squeaky clean now.

But the last time I washed one lonely red sock with my wallet, all hell broke loose....
